Time Requirement: Full-Time; First shift with some variability, with after-hours work as needed for maintenance needs and emergencies

Summary:

We are looking for a dependable long-term Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is multi-faceted, so we are looking for someone with at least one of the following core skills who is willing to be trained on the rest. In addition to supporting our ammonia refrigeration systems, this person will handle regular maintenance needs across the facility outside of refrigeration such as general industrial and building upkeep. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and will own their job. This role is a specialist who will have autonomy to identify maintenance needs and make decisions to execute solutions.

Skills and Experience Needed:

Must have experience in at least one of the following areas; we will provide training on the rest:

· Ammonia Refrigeration

· Industrial Maintenance

· Electrical Work (high & low voltage, controls)

· HVAC

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

· Maintain and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems

· Perform industrial maintenance across facility equipment

· Complete industrial electrical work

· Perform general facility maintenance outside of refrigeration

· Troubleshoot and problem-solve equipment and facility issues as they arise

· Respond to occasional after-hours call-outs for maintenance emergencies

· Take part in ongoing training and classes to build skills in new areas

Qualifications:

· Experience in at least one of: Ammonia Refrigeration, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Work (high & low voltage, controls), or HVAC

· Self-starter who works well with others but can also work independently

· Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously — identifying needs, prioritizing action, and executing with minimal supervision.

· Motivated, organized, and dependable

· Basic computer literacy

· Able to troubleshoot and problem-solve

· Willing to learn, take initiative, and complete additional training/classes

· Reliable, able to respond to occasional call-outs
